We’re baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack! ON-THE-LINE
Joy is binge watching the Good Wife while Tracy is just trying to be the Good Wife.
What do you make when you just move into a new place? Zucchini bread!
Spider Goats? WHY?!!
What Joy is reading: This Is the Story of a Happy Marriage, The Piano Tuner & The Girl Who Fell from the Sky
What Tracy is reading: Yes Please which is the opposite of No Thank you.
Tracy’s working on a batch of Kombucha right now. Pray for her. Let’s not talk about her scoby, ok?
How do you get out of a blog/photography rut? Try a new camera. Tracy is figuring out her way through the Fujifilm X-T1 (and loving it)

SO happy to hear you ladies back on the air! Tracy, even though you think your content is the “same” I’m telling you it’s not. I find inspiration when I’m in food ruts and I always find a lifeline on your site. Joy, less posting? It doesn’t feel that way to me, you’re rocking the balance perfectly I’d say!
Tracy, my sister and I were just saying how over the last 5 years, we think your blog has improved so much! we are addicted! We email each other stuff from your blog all the time, and we always talk about your friday lists (which, by the way, are amazing.)
Thanks for that!!
HURRAY!!! You just made this the best day ever. So glad you all are back on with the podcast.
So happy you guys are back!
Just got done listening to the show! So glad to hear you gals! Okay, so you guys were talking about Spider Goats and Tracey said don’t google “image” them. But I have to tell you this, and I’m worried that I should be inflicting this on you guys. But Google “Water Bears”. But do it with the full transparency that you cannot unsee what you are going to find. Nobody warned me, and I haven’t been the same. Don’t hate me hehehe
YAY!!! This made my day yesterday! I did a little happy dance at work when I saw there was a new show!
I want Tracy’s line “You’ve had a lot of potatoes” to be my new ringtone.
HAHAHA. We should make that happen. Lol
Glad you are back! I’m really interested to hear how the kombucha turns out. The only time I’ve tried to make it myself, it got moldy. No smell, though!
I’ve done two batches so far and they both have turned out fab!
Brian Krakow was on Mad Men a couple episodes ago! Major double-take moment.
So glad you two are back on the line..Keep it up, ok? Kidding. Balance is important. Maybe I can figure out how to go back and listen to your early episodes again.
I liked hearing what you two make vs buy. As lazy/busy as I can be, I always *want* to make baked fries (like how sweet’s buffalo fries, sans buffalo) and homemade bread. Whose got time for that? I need to find some good grocery store bread.
I spit out my coffee thinking about Tracy taking a trunk-scoby. Eew. Hilarious that on the line feels safer
Ladies, so happy you are back! Joy, “shotgun houses” are called “railroad apartments” here in New York and one was critically important to the 90s classic movie Last Days of Disco!
So so so happy you guys are back podcasting! Tracy, the guy who played Brian Krakow also played Stevie Wollcott on Mad Men this season, who was Peggy’s date a few episodes ago (her coworker’s cousin or something)! So that’s how he turned out.
So glad you’re back. I missed you! I was given a scoby (not from a trunk!) and have hesitated about making the kombucha. Thanks for giving me a push to to Just Do It.
So glad you ladies are back! Yay! Oh! And John Francis Daley from freaks and geeks has played Agent Sweets on Bones. He is a psychologist and in the FBI and totally awesome!
SOOOOOO happy you ladies are back! I missed you so much!
Ah! Tracy! Brian Krakow just made a guest appearance on Mad Men as Stevie, Peggy’s date that she wanted to go to Paris with.
I would love to hear you both talk a little bit about food photography in an upcoming podcast. For someone (like myself) who is just getting into food photography and playing around with lighting and props, what are some tips and tricks you girls would share for newbies? Thanks!
I miss your podcasts. I can’t find any others as great as yours!
