Hello friends!  We’re here today with another Joy the Baker podcast.  This week we’re talking about turkey, cookbooks, running from zombies, and oh… we’re helping to name a podcast listener’s child. Just another week.  You know the drill.

Have you ever thought about your nail-bed real estate when painting your nails.  Guess what?  It’s a real thing that Tracy and I are going to talk about.

Sorry / Not sorry.

Thanksgiving at Tracy’s house is a treat!  She braised a turkey!  It was the best.

I ate too many mashed potatoes… then I went back for seconds. Ps.  Tracy’s mashed potatoes have secret butter pockets.  It’s a recipe from the Pioneer Woman.  Outrageous!

If you want to blast away you inbox, try Unroll.me.  Just know that you have to like them or blast your social media with it to complete the task!

Campari and Beer sounds crazy, but I’m open to having my mind changed:  Campari Ipa Spritzer from thekitchn

What should Celeste name her daughter!?  Yea.. real. Cooper.  Owen.  Or Beckett?  We should vote.

Tracy’s favorite/go-to cookbook:

The Art of Simple Food by Alice Waters

 Joy’s favorite/go-to cookbook:

The Gourmet Cookbook by Ruth Reichl

My Bread: The Revolutionary No-Work, No-Knead Method

  2. The Campari + IPA spritzer is totally amazeballs. It does sound a little odd but I’m an IPA girl and it’s great.
