It’s time for another episode of the Joy the Baker Podcast! This week, one of you is getting engaged! Yea… believe it. It’s pretty major!
We’re also going to relive out teen magazine quiz days to find out whether we’re going to be rich or poor in ten years.
Also… Tracy would like you to be careful on the trampoline.
We need to introduce you to a new member of the Homefries family.
Meet Lloyd, the new kitten. He’s the sweetest thing. He really is.
Also… Ain’t nobody got time for that! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oSTy4qVw9yQ
Thank you for joining us for another podcast! We love that you’re here!
I love you, Lloyd!!!! I meant to tell Michael that Lloyd and my cat, Harry should be friends, a la Dumb and Dumber. Except our cats are hella smart.
This might be the weirdest comment I’ve ever left on a show notes. Not sorry.
why are there no groceries?! ahh!
Michael, I’m scared that your fridge is so empty!!!!!
I may have been eating some of Tracy’s doughnuts (which I made for today’s blog post) while listening to this podcast this morning. Fact.
My cat did the same thing as a kitten! He’d climb in every time we opened the fridge and since my husband kept beer there it made for some awesome photo ops. I need to find those pics!
Don’t worry. There are pickles and club soda in the fridge door. Food for days…
Hi Joy! You should request an increase on the limit on your credit card so that you’ll be using a lesser percent for the same dollar amount. This will improve your credit score in the long run, just as Glamour says.
Tracy – you are not too old for a trampoline! You just need to go on a trampoline that is up to snuff. There are indoor trampoline parks that are awesome. Check out SkyZone. It’s awesome.
Okay! So I have a podcast suggestion. I recently re-red Joy’s list of 21 things about life for a 21st birthday. Or something better named than that. But I think you should go over those on the podcast. Expand. Ellaborate. Give examples of why we shouldn’t get a footlong rum drink in Vegas!
I loved loved loved the story about the two French people and the Take 5 bars–thanks for sharing. I was laughing my head off!
By the way, congrats to the newly engaged couple! Yay!
Hi Joy, I am Jeff’s silversmithing teacher! He did an awesome job on Nicole’s ring, and really did the whole thing by himself. Thanks for your part in helping him pop the question. Love your blog and podcasts.
Jeff! That’s the sweetest thing!!! Props to you. Can we pretty please pleeeease see a picture?
Michael, I’m a teensy bit concerned about your diet slash jealous that your fridge is so freaking clean.
That’s one “cool” kitty…see what I did there?!?!
Thank you Tracy for the French laughing – “Le haw haw haw” – I joined in.
Ok, I seriously have to stop listening to your podcast at work or I’m gonna get FIRED for bursting out with laughter every 10 seconds!
Joy – late comment but I listened to the podcast recently and just wanted to say something about the credit score thing. They really do lower your credit score for spending a higher percentage of your total limit, apparently that’s one of the reasons my credit score was low, even though I pay off the whole thing every month. I asked and had mine raised which helps some. It was pretty annoying to find that out just when we were getting a loan for our house, so it probably is smart to take care of earlier!
Looks like Lloyd is chillin 😉
