It’s Awards Season. The Super Bowl is coming. And you know you have to catch up with Don Draper at a Mad Men Marathon before the new season starts. So get off the couch and into the spirit. Turn on the tube, throw a party, and invite some friends– because The Table Set wants you and your guests to tune in and turn up your TV party’s volume.

When it comes to Award Shows the super-duper-über-mightiest of all is The Academy Awards. Greg has walked the red carpet more than once and can tell you firsthand that the best parts are (of course) the after-parties and the limo rides. Imagine yourself creeping along in the limo line, masses of adoring fans waving and screaming at you. Of course they have no idea who’s traveling behind those darkened windows. So everyone’s a star. Wouldn’t you have a little fun with the fans?

But Greg’s not the only one with a so called glamorous life. Nathan knows how to live too. How about a party to honor the one and only season of your favorite TV show? You know– My So Called Life. And while you’re at it, make it a waffle party. In your pajamas. Yeah that makes sense.

If you’ve read this far we’re assuming you aren’t one of those people who frowns at the idea of eating in front of the TV. Well neither is Andy. He likes to throw regular Mad Men viewing parties where the meal is every bit as enticing as the drama. Costumes encouraged. Good food and drink guaranteed. But in true Andy style he merely takes his inspiration from the onscreen hijinks and presents a meal more suited to a modern palate. I bet his bloody Steak a la Betty Draper with roasted baby heirloom tomatoes would raise a few meticulously manicured mid-century eyebrows.

But let’s face it. The TV party of the year has nothing to do with Hollywood. Unless you count the commercials. I’m talking about The Super Bowl. People take their game day eats super seriously. The Table Set is no exception. Except these guys like to rev it up a notch bringing their signature High Brow/Low Brow front and center. For example Nathan’s Hip Dip, it takes the rather low brow mainstay Chip and Dip and turns it into a robust spread that is a refreshingly light and zesty take on the standard guacamole. He uses plenty of edamame.

Which opens the door to an entire Super Bowl menu that takes the expected to the highest of high brow heights. Without losing its sporty low brow appeal.

Despite these gents’ love of the high brow/low brow hybrid, Nathan knows what these parties are all about. Glamour! So break out the punch bowl and give his Gilded Cava Punch a go. It’s guaranteed to make your party golden!
