Andy, Greg, and Nathan plan a housewarming party for Nathan’s new digs. They discuss sandwich bars, creative cole slaws, and a drink made from the giant citrus monsters in Nathan’s backyard.
How do you throw an inviting, fun, and affordable housewarming party?
Well… look around your new home? What’s there? A fig tree? A pomello tree? A mini garden? Work with what you’ve got…. and also make a sandwich bar.
Sandwich bars are just about the best thing ever.
a. Andy, Greg, and Nathan gather in Nathan’s new kitchen to experiment with with Pomello cocktails.
b. and c. Greg makes Jicama and Mango Slaw. No sandwich bar should ever exist without an awesome slaw. True.
d. Andy makes Tempeh Sloppy Joes. Man… that looks good.
e. and f. The makings of Nathan’s creation: The Papa Pomelo Daiquiri. Creative booze and pomelos straight from the tree!

I wanted to say, you may have already had the party but the entire podcast made me think of one theme: “Make yourself at home”
The personalized sodas, dress your own sandwich, build up my herb garden are all very welcoming ways to invite people into your home, making themselves comfortable.
