This week Joy talks with Jessie Oleson from CakeSpy.com. Jessie is an illustrator, baker, and creator off every one of these sweet treat personalities. Jessie lives in Seattle with her cast of dessert characters, her husband, and two unruly pugs. Jessie is an art and food all star. Major.
Unicorns definitely eat bananas and robots are definitely excited about pie.
Jessie’s famous S’moreo: a toasted marshmallow, double chocolate, Oreo cookie creation.
Eat your heart out summer camp s’mores. You just got an upgrade.
Jessie’s book CakeSpy Presents: Sweet Treats for a Sugar-Filled Life is full of bonkers dessert recipes. She somehow transforms salad into dessert… that’s no small miracle.
Jessie at her store CakeSpy Shop in Seattle. Jessie can also be found at cakespy.com and on Twitter at @cakespy. Go say hello!

I loved this exchange and hearing the story behind the trinity of awesomeness of Jessie and Cake Spy. I’ve been a long time reader and admirer of the cutest little cupcake drawing ever and just found Joy the Baker tonight for the first time. Speaking of a trinity…. I think I hit the Tri-fecta tonight. Lol!
